Development of flow control devices: Synthetic Jet /Desarrollo de dispositivos de control de flujo: Jet Sintético 

This project is focused on development Synthetic Jet actuators (active flow control device) to improve the deteriorated aerodynamic characteristics of the low Reynolds number flow regimes and potentially use the same structure as a maneuvering device over micro aerial vehicles (MAV). This research work covers the characterization of synthetic jets using numerical simulation (CFD) and experimental data from wind tunnel for validation (MAV developed in our team).


Aerodynamic study of a concept-car vehicle / Estudio aerodinámico de un vehículo Concept-Car 
External aerodynamics study for shape optimization on a Concept Car called ALLSCAPE, we have developed a methodology to improve the first stages of the vehicle conceptual design using CFD tools (ANSYS-CFX). The ALLSCAPE was a finalist for the Peugeot Design Contest 2007, author Gustavo Ferrero.
